At Break Free Hypnotherapy, many areas of expertise come together to help tackle emotional, physical, behavioural and habitual challenges. By combining Clinical Hypnotherapy, Integrative Psychotherapy, Neuroplasticity-based techniques and holistic therapies, each session is tailored to support meaningful and lasting change.
In your Clinical session, we focus on understanding and changing emotional regulation, behaviours, habits, addictions, thought patterns, cognitive processes and nervous system responses that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we strengthen confidence, motivation and self-belief while creating healthier patterns that allow you to experience greater freedom, inner peace, joy and fulfilment.
We discuss your intended outcome, then you will be guided into a nice relaxed state using breathwork and therapeutic visuals. (You won't be asleep.) As the busy conscious mind relaxes, it allows the greater part of the mind, the subconscious mind, to come forward. The subconscious mind is what holds onto habits, emotions, long-term memories, fears and limiting beliefs, many of which were installed when we were young. Some people call this part of the mind the "autopilot."
This is not standard talk therapy, nor is it standard hypnotherapy. It's not just positive thinking.
Talking about a problem can bring awareness, but awareness alone doesn't always create change. The aim is to identify where the issue started, clear what is keeping it in place, calm the nervous system and create new patterns so you can move forward feeling lighter, calmer and more in control.
Many people know exactly why they think, feel or react the way they do, yet still find themselves repeating the same patterns. This is often because the nervous system has learnt to respond automatically. Once the underlying issue is addressed and the nervous system feels safe enough to let go, real change becomes possible.

Many understand their fears, habits or emotional reactions, yet still feel stuck because their nervous system has learned a different response.
When we pinpoint the root cause in a safe and comfortable manner and experience those amazing "Aha!" moments, we can then use the appropriate intervention to clear, dissolve, unhook, reframe or release the negative feelings associated with the issue, allowing it to become nothing more than a memory without the emotional charge attached to it.
Once that blockage is released, we can focus on your goals and the life you want moving forward. Many clients leave feeling a tremendous shift, lighter, clearer and more confident, ready to take charge of their lives and move towards greater freedom, inner peace and joy.
